OSC Appui a la Mise en Oeuvre du Projet d'Appui de l'Autonomisation des Femmes Entrepreneures en Milieu Rural et Périurbain

Objectives: The main objective of this call for proposals is to select a civil society organization to train and support 80 female entrepreneurs aged 18 to 50 years in the agrobusiness sector from rural and peri-urban areas of Louga, Kaolack, Thiès, Fatick, Matam, Kolda, and Ziguinchor. These women will be equipped with entrepreneurial skills (growth strategies, diversification, commercialization, etc.) to enhance their capacity to contribute to local governance efforts promoting gender equality and preventing gender-based violence in their communities. The initiative's objectives include strengthening the participants' entrepreneurial capacities, supporting skills development, facilitating access to modern tools, connecting them to national and international markets, and mentoring by successful entrepreneurs. Additionally, the project aims to achieve gains in leadership and communication skills among the women, fostering increased participation in community roles and raising awareness about gender equality and the prevention of violence against women.
