Program Summary:
Project HOPE is providing humanitarian assistance to the conflict-affected population in Gaza. The current response portfolio focuses on Health, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, Protection, and WASH programming in partnership with local NGOs and with private funding and support from USAID/BHA. Project HOPE has established several primary health clinics and sexual reproductive health services in addition to several health points established around Gaza near populations of displaced people.
This post will be based in Gaza. Local Nationals Only.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Health Technical Lead will be a core member of Project HOPE’s team in Gaza working to address the health needs of the population. The Health Technical Lead is primarily responsible for vision, strategy and technical oversight of health programs, including technical design, implementation and management of the health programs at the international level. They will work in collaboration with the Project HOPE’s senior management team and health teams in the field to deliver high-quality health services to the targeted beneficiaries. The Health Technical Lead will make frequent visits to the field sites to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. S/he will ensure high-quality clinical services in Project HOPE Gaza’s health facilities and manage three teams of staff. S/he will monitor service quality, ensure that all staff are trained and well-supported, pharmaceuticals and other medical supplies are properly managed. If needed, the Health Technical Lead will represent Project HOPE in the Gaza Health Cluster, Health Forum and other technical working groups and coordination mechanisms.
