Climate-Smart Agriculture Expert

North South Consultants Exchange (NSCE) is looking for a Climate-Smart Agriculture Expert to contribute to the evaluation of a food security and agriculture program and to the integration of climate-smart agriculture into the new strategy.

Requirements:

·       Relevant master’s degree

·       Minimum of 7 years of experience in promoting climate-smart agricultural (CSA) practices and enhancing resilience to climate change within agricultural systems in Africa

·       Specialized knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices, including agroecology, conservation agriculture, water resource management, and renewable energy solutions for farming systems

·       Experience in developing and implementing climate-smart solutions that increase resilience to climate risks while improving productivity, soil health, and biodiversity conservation

·       Proven track record in advising on climate adaptation and mitigation strategies within the context of African agricultural policies
