Position and Scope:
This is a project position based outside the United States. You will manage a team of procurement specialists and implement key procurement activities essential for the success of the projects on which you will work. Your role is crucial to the effective and compliant execution of procurement processes, contributing to the overall success of these projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or similar academic credential in a relevant field.
At least 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, or a combination of these areas.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese
Previous experience in Portuguese-speaking countries
Proficiency in using computer software, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Deep familiarity with procurement guidelines and regulations of United States Government agencies and/or the World Bank.
