Road Asset Management Expert/Team Leader

Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Road Asset Management Expert/Team Leader to join our team for the upcoming Climate resilient road asset management and road safety (CRRAMS) in Mongolia, funded by ADB.

The objective of the project is to improve state road sections linking aimag capitals among themselves and to the country’s main east–west road corridor, providing all weather access to services and economic opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Expert will be an engineer with a master’s (or equivalent) degree in civil engineering or other relevant area
• At least 15 years professional experience, of which preferably at least 5 years in road asset management.
• The Expert shall be conversant with application of survey equipment, data collection, GPS data set-up, transfer of data from Survey equipment/GPS to databases and to GIS set-up.
• The Expert shall also be conversant with data compilation, integration methods, coordinate systems, projections and transformations.
• Knowledge and work experience in road sector projects financed by international financial institutions is a requirement.
