Permafrost Expert

Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Permafrost Expert to join our team for the upcoming Climate resilient road asset management and road safety (CRRAMS) in Mongolia, funded by ADB.

The objective of the project is to improve state road sections linking aimag capitals among themselves and to the country’s main east–west road corridor, providing all weather access to services and economic opportunities.

Required Qualifications: 

• A master’s degree in geology, geography, civil engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience on permafrost and / or seasonally frozen ground aspects of road design and construction.
