Advisory services on education and skills, and culture project: The overall objective: Is to increase the effectiveness of the human development aspects of EU policies and programmes at global, regional and country level, in particular in the areas of quality and inclusive education / skills development and culture in partner countries.
Key expert 3 – Specialist in labour market analysis, employment and VET/skills provision
Qualifications and skills
University Degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent diploma) in economics, business administration, engineering or equivalent discipline. In its absence, the Bachelor’s Degree can be replaced by 5 years of relevant professional experience, in addition to the minimum general professional experience required.
A Master’s degree (or equivalent diploma) in education or relevant equivalent discipline will be considered as an asset.
General professional experience
− At least 10 years of experience related to private sector development and engagement, labour market analysis, employment and related skills requirements.
− At least 5 years of professional experience related to partner countries.
Specific professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in working with the private sector/business in Europe and partner countries in areas related to infrastructure development, and/or value chain investments and related skills requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience in public-private-partnerships and sector-specific vocational education and training (initial training and/or up-skilling and/or re-skilling).
- Experience in the support or assessment of VET/HE systems will be considered as an asset.
- Experience with latest sector specific developments in Europe and third countries including policies/ approaches of the European Union (Global Gateway) in these areas will be an asset.
