Project Overview:

This project aims to manage and develop a dedicated Suai Supply Base, through a Design-Build and Finance contract. The Supervision works of SSB design build contract will provide specialized project management advice and expertise in the development of onshore and offshore works.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 15 years' post-graduate experience to join our team in the region. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supervising medium- and low-voltage electrical systems installation, including substations, backup generators, lighting and power distribution across the site.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaison with the other members of the Team;
• Reporting to Team Lead;
• Supervise installation of MV/LV switchgear, lighting and substations
• Ensure all works meet safety, regulatory and design standards
• Review electrical drawings, layouts and protection schemes
• Support testing, commissioning and energisation processes
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical and civil systems
• Maintaining a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the working environment and projects;
• To ensure maximum flexibility and to reflect the Company's evolving needs, additional tasks and responsibilities will form part of this role as it evolves.
• Perform other such duties as may be reasonably required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years’ experience on large-scale infrastructure and utility projects
• Electrical engineering lead on at least two supply base or port projects exceeding USD 200 million
• Knowledge of IEC, NEC or regional electrical standards
• Experienced in commissioning and QA/QC
• Experience with grid interconnection or renewable integration
• Familiarity with electrical modelling tools (e.g., ETAP, Dialux)
• Excellent communication, reporting and computer skills, with excellent site supervision and reporting skills
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team;
• Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage many tasks concurrently;
