The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until 31.12.2025. There are very good prospects for an extension. The position will initially be offered as a remote contract, valid until the legal registration of our operations in Jordan is complete. Once registration is finalized, the successful candidate will be expected to relocate and be based in Amman.
Support country offices and partners in developing nutrition-oriented strategies aligned with WHH’s global approach, including facilitating strategic workshops and participating in nutrition cluster coordination
Assist in planning and conducting nutrition-specific needs assessments, including service mapping, CMAM referral pathways, and supporting local data collection efforts
Provide technical guidance on CMAM reporting, MUAC screenings, IYCF-E, and nutrition center organization; contribute to project design, monitoring, and proposal reviews in collaboration with MEAL and technical teams
Strengthen WHH’s nutrition portfolio by promoting evidence-based programming, supporting rollout in new regions, and assisting with positioning for donor engagement and fundraising
Represent WHH in technical exchanges, networks, and communities of practice; facilitate internal learning and knowledge sharing across country offices
Report on progress, milestones, and key findings to the head of programmes and sector leads; ensure regular information flow to field teams and partners on nutrition priorities
At least 2 years of experience in working at a technical advisor level in an INGO,
At least 2 years of experience in working in programs related to treatment of acute malnutrition, and IYCF or IYCF-E
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent inter-personal, communication, advisory and facilitation skills
Experience in MENA region would be an asset,
Experience in working in hard-to-reach areas and emergency set-ups would be an asset,
You should be willing and able to travel within the region, subject to security conditions and visa eligibility.
