REGULATIONS REQUIRED
Key Responsibilities
MEP Systems Management
ü Execute mechanical systems installation including HVAC, plumbing, and fire
ü safety systems
ü Coordinate with electrical engineers to ensure proper MEP integration and
ü system compatibility
ü Design mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
ü Ensure compliance with international hospitality standards and local building
ü codes
ü Quality Control & Compliance
ü Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments of mechanical
ü installations
ü Implement and maintain quality control procedures according to
ü international standards
ü Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders
ü Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
PROJECT COORDINATION
ü Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and international partners
ü Follow mechanical work schedules and coordinate with overall project
ü timeline
ü Provide technical support and guidance to local teams and subcontractors
ü Participate in design coordination meetings and technical problem-solving
ü sessions
TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION
ü Maintain accurate as-built drawings and technical documentation using
ü AutoCAD/Revit
ü Prepare commissioning procedures and testing protocols for mechanical
ü systems
ü Document project progress and maintain comprehensive project records
ü Support handover process with operation and maintenance documentation
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
ü Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
ü Additional certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or fire safety systems are
advantageous
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
ü Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience in construction projects
ü Proven experience in MEP systems design, installation, or project management
ü Experience in hospitality, commercial high-rise, or complex international construction projects necessary
ü International project experience and cultural adaptability highly valued Technical Skills
ü Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP for technical drawing and modeling
ü Knowledge of international building codes and standards (British, US, European)
ü Understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing design, and fire safety requirements
ü Familiarity with project management software and construction scheduling tools
LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION
ü French language skills necessary for working in Cameroon environment
ü Strong presentation and technical communication abilities
ü Ability to work effectively in multicultural team environments
