Remuneration: In line with market rates.
Citizenship: This position is open to experienced candidates who are currently based in Manila, or who are willing to relocate at their own expense.

The Role
The Project Administrator will be based in Manila and responsible for the following tasks:

  • Provide, as required, administrative and technical support to the project team and other stakeholders, including secretarial services;
  • Assist and contribute to the preparation of all project deliverables and key documents;
  • Act as the first “telephone” point of contact, including accepting incoming calls, recording calls, attempting to resolve simple problems and following established procedures for more difficult issues;
  • Follow up on requests from technical specialists;
  • Assist in the coordination of logistics, such as vehicle rental, travel, missions and drafting of travel letters for subcontractors and third parties.

Required qualifications:    

  • A degree in political science, law, international development, economics, finance, business administration, project management, social sciences, engineering or applied sciences.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience as a Project Administrator on projects funded by donors.
  • Experience as a Project Administrator on at least 2 projects, and experience with a budget of 5,000,000 CA or more.
  • The Project Administrator must have experience in the Philippines.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the project team and other stakeholders, including secretarial services;
  • Assist and contribute to the preparation of key project deliverables and documents;
  • Assist in the coordination of logistics, such as mission planning, local transportation, travel arrangements and related services;
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports and other documents;
  • Act as a first point of contact by responding to incoming calls, recording calls, attempting to resolve simple issues and following established procedures for more difficult issues;
  • Provide advice or assistance with respect to local government documentation requirements, obtaining visas and work permits and related services.
