Candidate Profile: Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a proactive and analytical engineer with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record in materials engineering for large-scale infrastructure.
General Qualifications:
A University Degree in Highway Engineering, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification directly related to the specialty.
A minimum of twelve (12) years of demonstrable professional experience in the quality management of civil works and materials testing.
Specific Technical Expertise:
At least eight (8) years of focused experience as a Materials Engineer on roads, bridges, and motorway contracts, specifically including asphalt paving works.
Deep technical knowledge of asphalt concrete material and hands-on experience with the asphalt mix design process.
Demonstrated experience working with recycled pavement is a distinct advantage and will be highly regarded.
Previous experience serving in the capacity of a Materials Engineer on at least two (2) similar projects, with a minimum involvement of one (1) year on each.
Regional & Language Skills:
Nationality: This opportunity is exclusively for Moldovan citizens.
Regional Experience: Candidates must demonstrate previous work experience in the European Region and/or the former Soviet Union countries. Experience working on infrastructure projects within Moldova is highly desirable.
Language Proficiency: A sound working knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken) is mandatory for technical reporting and communication with international partners. Proficiency in Romanian (native or fluent) is essential.
