Key Responsibilities:

·       Provide technical expertise in planning, management, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) of public health programs, ensuring alignment with best practices and donor requirements.

·       Proactively identify risks related to programmatic implementation and propose practical, effective solutions.

·       Identify opportunities to strengthen M&E systems and enhance program quality, including initiatives to improve health service delivery, clinical and programmatic practices, patient outcomes, and overall health system performance.

·       Promote and support the integration of sustainability and continuous quality improvement principles into grant design and implementation processes.

·       Review and analyze data from diverse sources such as routine health information systems, program reviews, evaluations, health facility assessments, surveys, and special studies to inform decision-making and drive program improvement.

    Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Medicine, Public Health, Epidemiology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years’ experience working as an M&E expert with donors and international development agencies, including substantial experience in West Africa.
  • Strong understanding of public health monitoring and evaluation systems, particularly in HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and/or Malaria.
  • Prior experience with the Global Fund and other major development programmes in multiple countries is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, diplomatic, and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior officials and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in both English and French.
