Speechwriters

Activities

• Speech writing, storytelling, narrative framing and message development, aligned with organizational priorities and values
• Drafting speeches for high-visibility events, international conferences and media-facing occasions
• Adapt tone, style and content to different speakers, audiences and cultural contexts
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple concurrent speechwriting assignments
• Collaborate with communications, policy and protocol teams to ensure accuracy, consistency and impact

Working conditions

• Work On-site and off-site
• Work in a multilingual international environment (English, French)

Qualifications

• University degree in Journalism, media, communication or subject related areas
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in professional speechwriting for senior leadership (e.g. political, institutional, corporate or multilateral 

Skills

• Full working proficiency in English, accredited with at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (or equivalent) and of the national language of the country where the specialist is required
• Creativity
• Team player

• Organisational skills and ability to work under pressure

   

• Very good knowledge of the rules of typography

   

• Knowledge of printing techniques

   

• Understanding of the purpose of communication

   

• Understanding of the working environment and especially the banking sector
