Egypt-based Cost Estimation Experts for a Local Area Development Plan (LADP) study

North South Consultants Exchange (NSCE) is looking for mid-level Cost Estimation Experts for a Local Area Development Plan (LADP) study.

Task description:

• Provide cost estimation for urban infrastructure projects, including but not limited to buildings, rehabilitation projects, water supply, sanitation, and road networks. 

• Assess financial feasibility and provide budgets segmented by specific fields such as structural components, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), etc. 

• Provide input on resource allocation strategies to maximize project impact. 

• Collaborate with the project team to align cost estimates with available funding and project scope. 

Needed qualifications and skills:

• University degree (Bachelor) in Civil Engineering

• Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory

Needed general & specific professional experience:

• 5 years of professional experience in:

• Cost estimation and budgeting for urban infrastructure projects public utilities and infrastructure projects. 

• Financial planning, resource allocation, and market price analysis

• Evaluating cost efficiency for community-based infrastructure initiatives.

• -Working with local administrations in urban upgrading projects.
