Environmental and Social Specialist

We are shortlisted by African Development Bank for Request for Proposals for Consulting Services for “Consultancy Services for Supervision Work of Eight Aggregation Centers and Four Agricultural Transformation Centers in the Provinces of Zambézia and Niassa.” We are doing many funded projects by Multilateral Development Banks funded such as World Bank, African Development Bank, Afri-Exim Bank in more than 10+ countries in Africa and we have previously done similar type of Assignment in The Gambia, Namibia Chad, Benin and Nigeria.

• Bsc in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources Sciences, Social Sciences or equivalent
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Environmental, Health and Safety management Experience in provision of Environment, Social (including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) and gender-based violence (GBV)), Health and Safety [ESHS] oversight on infrastructure projects in, at least 3 projects similar in financial magnitude.
• Familiarity   with   AfDB   policies   and   guidelines (Environmental, Social, Health   and   Safety   and Compensation and Resettlement) and Environmental   and   Social   National   Regulatory Framework.
• Participated in at least four projects of similar nature
• Good   working   communication   skills   in   English   and Portuguese.
