RFP25/03016: GT/Capacity Building on EPR Implementation

Objectives: The primary objective of this assignment is to enhance the capacity of environmental institutions in Moldova for effective implementation of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme. The contractor will work with a national consultant to assist the Ministry of Environment in establishing the EPR scheme for three types of waste: used oils, tires, and vehicles, as well as to conceptualize the EPR scheme for construction and demolition waste management. The initiative aims to align Moldova's waste management regulations with EU best practices, improve regulatory frameworks, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and develop capacity through training events.
