PR 015965 Czech Republic: Middle Moravia railway - PPP preparation and tender advisory support

Objectives: The Middle Moravia railway project aims to upgrade the railway infrastructure between Brno and Přerov to facilitate a modernized transport link as part of the Baltic-Adriatic European Transport Corridor, leveraging the PPP model for development. This project focuses on expanding a single-track railway into a dual-track capable of supporting speeds of up to 200 km/h, thereby enhancing connectivity between Brno and Ostrava and, more broadly, between Wien and Katowice, to potentially shift modal transport patterns favorably. The EBRD seeks to select firms to provide extensive legal and commercial consultancy to aid in the preparation and tendering phases of this PPP endeavor.
