Consultancy to Co-Facilitate the Sub-Regional Gathering on Strengthening Collaboration between Ministries of Education and Teacher Training Institutions for Advancing Teacher Standards

Objectives: The Subregional Collaboration on Implementation of the Regional Teacher Standards aims to facilitate a sub-regional gathering of representatives from Ministries of Education and Teacher Training Institutions (TTIs). The gathering's objectives include enhancing the understanding of the Pacific Regional Standards for Teachers, sharing progress updates on country action plans, generating discussions on including teacher standards in education, strengthening implementation strategies by identifying best practices, and fostering partnerships to improve teacher quality. Additionally, it aims to develop a shared sense of responsibility between Ministries of Education and TTIs to ensure quality teaching for improved student outcomes.
