Especialista Mercados Carbono para el Salvador Readiness Capacitación en Art 6

Objectives: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is executing a readiness project aimed at capacity building in carbon markets and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement across several Latin American nations, including El Salvador. This initiative seeks to enhance the understanding and implementation of Article 6, improve transparency, and facilitate the establishment or participation in both new and existing carbon markets. By doing so, countries can progress towards their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and foster increased national cooperation and ambition under the Paris Agreement. The project is being implemented under the supervision of the Climate Action Regional Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean, alongside the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).
