Description

ACT Alliance is one of the world’s largest coalitions of churches and church-related organisations engaged in humanitarian, development, peace and advocacy work. Its members work in more than 120 countries and bring long-standing experience in fragile, conflict-affected and crisis-prone contexts where humanitarian needs, development challenges and barriers to sustainable peace are closely interconnected. The Alliance has committed to strengthening the links between humanitarian, development and peace action, including through alignment with the OECD DAC Recommendation on the Humanitarian–Development–Peace (HDP) Nexus and ACT Alliance’s own strategic commitments.

Norwegian Church Aid, as an active member of the ACT Alliance, is launching an “International Open Tender” and invites interested parties to participate in the procurement procedure to support ACT Alliance in strengthening its application of the HDP Nexus by developing shared practical guidance and strategic recommendations that help the Alliance and its members better integrate the humanitarian, development and peace pillars in its program approach and appeal mechanism.
