Description

Tender of the public contract of the Czech Republic - "Quantification of health and environmental risks and support for the rehabilitation of the site of the former refinery in Batumi" - Georgia

As part of the Czech Republic's Bilateral Foreign Development Cooperation Plan for 2021, approved by the government on 8 June 2020, the Czech Development Agency announces a public service contract entitled "Quantification of health and environmental risks and support for the rehabilitation of the former Batumi refinery complex".

The public contract is part of the Czech Republic's foreign development cooperation project in Georgia entitled "Rehabilitation of the site of the former Batumi refinery", which aims to contribute to reducing the threat to the environment and population in the former oil refinery in the port of Batumi.

The subject of the public contract is the identification of pollution sources in the area of the former Batumi refinery, determination of environmental and health risks resulting from this pollution, assessment of remedial measures and elaboration of remediation project documentation and documents for announcing an international tender for site remediation.

The total estimated value of the public contract is CZK 7,550,000 excluding VAT.

Tenders must be submitted in electronic form via the National Electronic Instrument (NEN) within the deadline for submission of tenders, which is set for 27 August 2021, 11:30 am. Participants will obtain the necessary information for submitting tenders in the NEN from the tender documentation.
