Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Dale Bumpers Small Farms Research Center (DBSFRC) in Booneville, Arkansas has a requirement for an Organic Hay Barn Erection to include:

All professional services, personnel, tools, material, and equipment to construct concrete Foundations, and to erect a pre-engineered building structure (the structural steel and metal skin for the Hilco steel buildings is on site). The contractor will provide a turn-key product to include, but not limited to, all materials as specified and the proper installation of all material. This project shall be accomplished at the USDA Agricultural Research Service Dale Bumpers Small Farms Research Center (USDA ARS DBSFRC), 6883 South State Highway 23, Booneville, Arkansas.

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Quote for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 with a size standard of $39.5 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement.

The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000.

During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Government anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement around April 19, 2022. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services. The statement of work is attached to this notice for information only. The full RFQ, applicable provisions/clauses, wage rates, etc. will be posted when the full RFQ solicitation is released around April 19, 2022.
