Description
  • Call for Partners: Join iHOPE in Combating International Parental Child Abduction

The Issue:

International Parental Child Abduction (IPCA) is a devastating crime that tears families apart and causes immense suffering for both children and left-behind parents. The Middle East, with its complex legal systems and lack of ratification of the Hague Convention, presents unique challenges in addressing IPCA cases.

iHOPE's Mission:

iHOPE is a Lebanese non-profit organization dedicated to combating IPCA through legal advocacy, litigation, policy reform, and community engagement. We have a proven track record of successfully reuniting families and advocating for the rights of abducted children.

The Urgency:

IPCA cases in the Middle East are on the rise, and the lack of adequate legal frameworks and resources leaves many families without hope. Funding for IPCA initiatives is critically low, hindering the ability of organizations like iHOPE to provide essential services to affected families.

Call to Action:

We urge organizations and individuals committed to human rights and child protection to partner with iHOPE in our fight against IPCA. Your support will enable us to:

  • Expand legal assistance: Provide legal representation and support to left-behind parents in navigating complex legal systems.

  • Strengthen advocacy efforts: Raise awareness about IPCA, advocate for policy reform, and engage with government and community stakeholders.

  • Empower families: Offer counseling, support groups, and resources to help families heal and rebuild their lives.

Partnering with iHOPE:

We offer various partnership opportunities, including:

  • Financial contributions: Direct funding to support our programs and services.
  • Capacity building: Sharing expertise and resources to strengthen our organizational capacity.
  • Collaborative projects: Joint initiatives to address specific IPCA challenges.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of abducted children and their families.

Join iHOPE today and invest in a future where every child has the right to a safe and loving family environment.
