Fundraising Appeal for Nana Afua Kobi Hospital – Biemso, Ashanti Region, Ghana

Nana Afua Kobi Hospital, located in Biemso in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, is a critical healthcare center serving a large rural population. Despite the dedication of its staff, the hospital is facing serious challenges that put lives at risk every day:

• Lack of essential medical equipment such as hospital beds, oxygen tanks, and diagnostic tools.

• Severe shortages of basic medical supplies like gloves, syringes, and IV fluids.

• Outdated infrastructure and poor facility conditions.

• Understaffing and overworked healthcare personnel.

• No reliable ambulance or emergency transportation system.

• Inadequate maternal and child healthcare resources, putting mothers and babies at risk.

Our Contribution

Testimony Genesis Foundation, a U.S.-based Christian nonprofit, recently visited the hospital and donated vital supplies including syringes, gloves, and basic medical items to assist the staff and patients. While the gesture was deeply appreciated, it was only a small step toward addressing the hospital’s overwhelming needs.

We are preparing a 40-foot container of hospital-grade medical equipment and supplies to ship to Nana Afua Kobi Hospital. However, we urgently need $15,000 to cover:

• Customs clearance in Ghana
• Equipment handling and ground transport to the hospital
• Coordination with local health partners.
• This grant will help bridge the critical healthcare gap in this underserved rural community and potentially save hundreds of lives.
