Description

The Colombia in Peace Fund (FCP) is a financial vehicle created on the occasion of the signing of the Peace Agreement in 2016. The creation of the FCP has a legal origin in Decree Law 691 of 2017 and its purpose is to guarantee efficiency and effectiveness in the administration, coordination, targeting and execution of the resources destined to the implementation of the Final Agreement, in accordance with the Implementation Framework Plan (PMI).

The purpose of the Colombia in Peace Fund (FCP) is to be the main instrument for the administration, coordination, articulation, targeting and execution of the different sources of resources to carry out the necessary actions for the implementation of the Final Agreement for the Termination of the Conflict and the Construction of a Stable and Lasting Peace, in accordance with the Implementation Framework Plan of the same and the specific component for peace of the Multiannual Investment Plan of the National Development Plans provided for in Legislative Act 1 of 2016, as well as the reincorporation process of the Farc-EP to civilian life, and other post-conflict actions. This fund also has the function of articulating international cooperation and private and public participation and contributions received through different sources.
