Strategic Objectives

Strengthen the leading capacity of the Ministry of Health, through the effective conduct of the SNS institutional development, the effective management of human talent to consolidate the sectoral leadership.

Guarantee comprehensive health services to the population, with quality, opportunity and equity, through the development and decentralization of the SRS networks and the strengthening and deconcentration of collective health programs.

Promote the creation of spaces and opportunities for social participation in the work of public health services and the exercise of the rectory, in order to adapt the services to the needs and interests of the community, contributing to the development of the concept of citizenship.

To improve the performance of the FESP, through the development and strengthening of the required competencies, in order to contribute to raising the quality of life of the population.

Guarantee equitable access to safe and effective quality medicines, through the correct application of the National Medicines Policy, to ensure the health of the population and the financial sustainability of the National Health System.

Promote and implement a culture of institutional quality, developing management strategies, improving productivity and quality of employment to promote user satisfaction and positive positioning of the public in the Dominican social perception.
