Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Within the framework of structural reforms implemented in the Republic, the State Committee for Ecology and Natural Resources Control, the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Hydrometeorology of the Republic of Azerbaijan are engaged in duplication and activity in different areas of environmental protection and use of natural resources. The Ministry and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan were abolished by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No 485 dated May 23, 2001, and the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan. was created Presidential Decree No. 583 of September 18, 2001 approved the Statute on the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the regulations, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources - environmental protection in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including the Caspian Sea (lake), the use of natural resources, efficient utilization of underground water, mineral resources and natural resources, is the central executive body, which implements the state policy in the field of monitoring and forecasting of processes.
