The presence of the United Nations in Mali adheres to the principle of structured integration by which the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations (SRSG) is the highest authority for coordinating the activities of the UN system in the country. He is supported by two Deputy Special Representatives of the Secretary General (RSASG): the first is responsible for humanitarian and development affairs (RSASG / CR / CH), the second is responsible for political affairs (RSASG / P).ry.
