Ministry of Health performs works and duties related to:

Health care and health insurance for population;
Pollution of air, water, land and life products;
Organization and development of health;
Monitoring of the population’s health;
Protection of population from infectious diseases, from hazardous impact of gasses, ionizing radiation, noise, pollution of air, water and land;
Foodstuff and general use products;
Medicines, auxiliary medical assets, medical devices, medical equipment, sanitary appliances and materials;
Poisons and narcotic drugs;
Performing surveillance under their authority; and
Performing other duties as stipulated by Law.
