World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.
World Vision began its operations in Kenya in 1974 and currently provides hope and assistance to children and communities in 35 of the 47 counties in Kenya. Motived by God’s love, we serve alongside the poor and oppressed focusing on those who are most vulnerable, regardless of a person’s religion, race, ethnicity or gender. We are committed to the well-being of children.
By 2015, World Vision Kenya’s strategic goal is to contribute to the increased well-being of 2 million vulnerable children by facilitating empowerment and transformation of families and communities to tackle the root causes of poverty.
