The Institute of Social Communication is a public institution endowed with administrative autonomy, whose main objective is communication for the development of the rural area.Contribute to improving the quality of life of the vulnerable population, particularly in rural areas, through communication programs for development.CS manages 41 community radio stations across the country, volunteers and a management committee comprising influential members of the community. For its network of RCs, ICS conducts various programs with the participation of rural populations in thematic areas such as agriculture (agricultural production and conservation agriculture), health (prevention of endemic and epidemic diseases including HIV/AIDS), water and sanitation ( privileging hygiene or sanitation of the environment and access to potable water), education (adult literacy and girls' education), environment (fire mitigation and environmental preservation), among others.
