In Guyana and Suriname, UNICEF operates under a single Country Programme Document (CPD) with five programmes areas. These are:
The CPD runs from March 2022 - December 2026 and aims at achieving the best possible results for the most deprived children and their families. Working upstream at policy level and downstream at community level, it includes system strengthening (i.e. legal/policy reform and strategic planning), capacity building, evidence-based interventions, service delivery and communication for development.
