Kingston Omo-Emmanuel is a Public Health Medical Laboratory Scientist, Health Management and Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist with experience in clinical and academic Medical Laboratory practice and HIV/AIDS, 22Malaria and TB program planning, design and implementation. He is a staff of the United Agency for International Development (USAID) Nigeria, where he provides management oversight to implementing partners (IPs) implementing laboratory programs and support to the government of Nigeria on laboratory practices and systems through the Federal Ministry of Health, health department and agencies and the National Laboratory Technical Working Group (NLTWG). Before joining USAID, he had worked on projects funded by the USAID, US CDC, Global Funds for HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM) and Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) in collaboration with ministries, departments and agencies such as Ministry of Health, Hospitals Management Board, Agency for Control of AIDS and AIDS and STIs Control Program and TB, Leprosy and Buruli ulcer Control Program at the Federal, State and Local Government levels and Community Based and Civil Society Organizations in several states of Nigeria. He has experience in health systems strengthening, clinical laboratory quality management/quality improvement, institutional and human capacity building, health advocacy, biomedical waste and general prevention initiatives, laboratory biosafety and biosecurity, early infant diagnosis, mobile HIV prevention and testing and ART treatment monitoring test outreaches, point-of-care testing implementation and supervision and logistics and supply chain management system.
