I am an independent consultant specialising in communications and media for development.

Most of the projects I work with are funded by development partners with contributions from national governments.

Recent assignments include Suppot to the Local Construction Industry (EU) in Uganda, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (EU) in Zanzibar, Water, Sanitation and Health (EU) in Papua New Guinea, Expanding Social Protection II (DfID) in Uganda, Market Access in Northern Ghana (DfID) and the Malawi Democratic Governance Programme (EU).

Although often asked to develop communication strategies, I have direct experience of radio and TV production, journalism, web design and photography.

With over 20 years experience as a short- and medium-term consultant for international agencies, national ministries and programmes, my work has covered many sectors and many development themes including:

I have over 20 years of experience in a development context and, although now based in Norwich UK, have worked in more than 20 countries in West and East Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
