About
Dr. Sinclair is a passionate Global Education, Gender and Evaluation Consultant with 20 years of expertise in designing, managing and evaluating education development projects across the globe. As an education expert and evaluation consultant, she has evaluated education projects in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Since 2009, through her independent consulting business, Global Education Advisors, she has been providing international NGOs, donors (USAID, World Bank, UNICEF, DFID, DFAT), and ministries of education with technical assistance in project design, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, research, gender mainstreaming and proposal writing. She specializes in basic education, early grade reading, girls’ education, and youth skills development. Dr. Sinclair has designed, evaluated and extensively researched Early Grade Reading programs worldwide.
Prior to consulting, she served as a Senior Education Advisor of a USAID education project in Indonesia and spent four years in Washington, DC in education program management for Latin America. She possesses five years of teaching experience, including as a former Peace Corps Volunteer in Eritrea.
Dr. Sinclair recently completed her Doctorate in Global Education and was recognized for her outstanding dissertation: improving early grade reading instruction in Ghana. Available for short-term and long-term consulting.
