40 years of experience in Africa and Asia undertaking development assignments, in particular:
Project Management: worked as Chief of Party for two USAID-funded projects in South Sudan and Ethiopia.
Rural Development: Implemented and advised on wide range of issues in developing countries.
Agriculture and Livestock Specialist: development of agricultural strategies at national and local community levels; dairy value chain development; design of agricultural buildings, holding grounds and feedlots; pasture and fodder production; construction of biogas units for small scale livestock farmers; assessments of livestock health, production, breeding and marketing, carrying capacity, stocking rates, grazing patterns, environmental impact, destocking/restocking of pastoralists; conservation, wildlife and pastoralist issues; project management; project monitoring and evaluation; ranch and farm management; ration formulation;.
