BAA-GH-OAA-2023 Innovation Health Practices

Objectives: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has released a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) focusing on innovative health practices aimed at reducing disease and mortality rates worldwide. The main objective of this initiative is to encourage collaboration in the creation, piloting, and scaling of innovative research and development interventions to improve health outcomes in low-and-middle-income countries (LMICs). This includes seeking new ideas in science, technology, market-based approaches, and innovative practices in global health to achieve US government’s goals such as preventing child and maternal deaths, controlling the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and combating infectious diseases.
