Increased production capacity for explosives with strong focus on reduction of lead production time

EDF-ASAP-2023-LS-XPL-FAST

Programme: European Defence Fund
Call: Call for proposals focused on the increase of production capacities for explosives (EDF-ASAP-2023-LS-XPL)
Type of action: EDF-LS EDF Lump Sum Grants
Type of MGA: EDF Lump Sum Grant [EDF-AG-LS]
Deadline model: single-stage
Planned opening date: 18 October 2023
Deadline date: 13 December 2023 17:00:00 Brussels time

Scope:
Any eligible action as defined in Article 8 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1525, that addresses the increase of production capacities in the area of explosives, and that aims at supporting the ramp-up of the production capacity and timely delivery of artillery ammunition, as well as mortars and rockets, with potential positive spill over effects on other ground-to-ground ammunition as well as missiles. Proposed actions should specifically focus on the elimination of sourcing and production bottlenecks as well as on achieving resilience through cross-border cooperation by triggering a step change in the capacity, hence the robustness of the supply chains.
