CALL UPDATE (CEF-T-2024-AFIFCOEN): EVALUATION RESULTS

Indicative budget: EUR 220 000 000

The results of the evaluation are as follows:

Number of submitted proposals: 19
Number of admissible and eligible proposals: 16
Number of inadmissible proposals: 2
Number of ineligible proposals: 1
Number of successful proposals: 14
Total CEF contribution for the successful proposals: EUR 95 185 690

Applicants were informed recently about the evaluation results for their proposals.

List of successful projects under the first cut-off of the 2024-2025 AFIF call for proposals

!! IMPORTANT !!

Due to the exhaustion of funds, the third cut-off is cancelled. The Commission will assess the potential reflows and subsequently prepare a new work programme and call for proposals in the coming months.

UPDATE ALERT – The AFIF Call text has been adjusted!

The update includes the following elements:

The third cut-off date has been postponed to 4 March 2026.
The eligibility criteria have been clarified for maritime and inland waterway vessels supplied by hydrogen refuelling stations and ammonia or methanol facilities.
The extension principle for projects funded with unit contributions has been modified.

Topic description

Objective:

The objective is to support the deployment of Alternative Fuel supply infrastructure, contributing to decarbonising transport along the TEN-T network.

Scope:

The following Actions will be supported:

• Actions supporting the roll-out of electricity recharging infrastructure for Light-Duty and Heavy-Duty Vehicles of a minimum power output of respectively 150kW and 350kW.

Costs related to vehicles will not be eligible.
