Office of Sudan Affairs, PDS Annual Program Statement

Objectives: The Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the Office of Sudan Affairs (OSA) within the U.S. Department of State aims to support goals in Sudan through the Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program. This initiative focuses on fostering understanding related to U.S. policy or perspectives by engaging American experts, organizations, or institutions. Eligible program areas include promoting women's leadership in STEM, societal inclusion, peace through art, civic education, media capacity building, humanitarian assistance, and human rights advocacy. Programs should demonstrate clear objectives, anticipated results, and a robust U.S. component, while requiring progressive result reporting and allowing for U.S. governmental oversight.
