Aircraft propulsion and energy management systems

Objectives: The EDF-2025-DA-ENERENV-APEM project aims to develop and mature advanced propulsion, power, and thermal management technologies for fighter aircraft adaptable to various systems sizes and types within a System of Systems (SoS) configuration, which includes manned and unmanned systems, drone swarms, and auxiliary platforms. The project addresses evolving military requirements by ensuring flexibility and adaptability in multi-domain environments. A key goal is to enhance energy efficiency and integration of these technologies to improve EU air power, technological sovereignty, and strategic autonomy. This effort also enhances cross-border collaboration in the EU's defense sector.
