Objectives: The Rapid Response Fund (RRF) in Mozambique, established to address complex challenges such as conflicts, climate change impacts, and humanitarian crises, aims to support local and national actors in providing timely and flexible humanitarian responses. The fund seeks to reach areas with high needs and strengthen local and national capacities to manage disasters and emergency interventions effectively, focusing on priority sectors like shelter, WASH, health, protection, and food security among others. By providing grants, the fund expects to quickly assist communities with immediate needs resulting from geographical displacements and disasters, ensuring tailored responses to specific triggers/events and multisectional needs.
