Océans - Mondes sociaux, mondes vivants

Objectives: The "Oceans" program by Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme aims to support international teams and networks in the humanities and social sciences to address climate challenges impacting maritime spaces and to develop sustainable solutions. The initiative promotes partnerships to transform the relationship between human societies and oceanic ecosystems. The program encourages collaborations across scientific research, civil society organizations, public administrations, and private companies, focusing on governance of maritime spaces, oceanic cultures, human and material circulations, and maritime conflicts. Special attention is on maritime violence in 2025. Projects receive financial support between 15,000 and 30,000 euros over three years.
