Accelerating uptake through open proposals for advanced SME innovation

Objectives: The goal is to accelerate the uptake of innovations by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through collaboration with public buyers, fostering partnerships within the EU security industry and technology sectors. Outcomes include mature technological solutions addressing EU security needs such as fighting crime, terrorism; increasing disaster resilience; and improving border management and infrastructure. The initiative aims to streamline innovation processes, facilitate market access for SMEs, and promote cooperation across EU member states, ensuring a sustainable innovation capacity and reducing EU's technological dependencies.
