Capacity building and changing social behavior to improve WASH operations and maintenance in schools

Objectives: This initiative focuses on enhancing the operations and maintenance of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities in schools across the Republic of Moldova. It aims to improve institutional capacity through structured training and technical support, engaging school personnel and students in the process. Expected outcomes include functional, inclusive, and resilient WASH services, student engagement in hygiene practices, and improved government commitment to infrastructure and services. Activities will include training school staff, developing resource plans, and promoting student-led hygiene initiatives, ultimately contributing to better health, education, and equity outcomes.
