American Hearing Research Foundation invites applications for research in hearing, balance disorders of the inner ear: AHRF Discovery Grants

Objectives: The American Hearing Research Foundation's Discovery Grants program aims to support innovative studies on hearing and balance disorders related to the inner ear. With up to 10 grants available, each valued at $50,000, the program prioritizes early-career investigators requiring initial funding to produce data suitable for larger grant applications, such as NIH grants. Research proposals may focus on genetics, neurotology, anatomy, auditory processing, molecular and cellular biology, or therapeutic studies concerning the auditory and vestibular systems, as well as experimental devices like cochlear implants. Special emphasis is placed on projects investigating Meniere’s disease or sudden hearing loss.
