American Hearing Research Foundation invites applications for research in hearing, balance disorders of the inner ear: Discretionary Grants - Richard G. Muench Chairman’s Grant

Objectives: The American Hearing Research Foundation is offering grants through its Discovery Grants, Birtman Grant, and Richard G. Muench Chairman’s Grant programs for research related to hearing and balance disorders, particularly involving the inner ear. The Discovery Grants provide funding of $50,000 per award for up to eight awards, intended for both basic and clinical studies from Jan-Dec 2026. The foundation will give special consideration to projects concerning Ménière's disease or sudden hearing loss. The Birtman Grant and Richard G. Muench Chairman’s Grant are discretionary grants offered by invitation to Discovery Grant applicants showing outstanding promise, providing up to $75,000 and $65,000 respectively.
