Digitise UK natural science collections

Objectives: The funding aims to establish a Digitisation Hub for Natural Science Collections across the UK as part of the DiSSCo UK programme. Its objective is to facilitate mass digitisation and improve the UK's capability to support climate change and biodiversity research. By building a network of digitisation hubs, it intends to balance large-scale digitisation with capacity building across the sector. The project will focus on botanical and entomological specimens, offering guidance, leadership, and support to other collection organisations, thereby enhancing scientific research and growth.
