BrightFocus Foundation invites letters of intent for macular degeneration research: New Investigator Grant Program

Objectives: The BrightFocus Foundation's research grants program is designed to support innovative research aimed at advancing understanding and treatment options for Alzheimer’s disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. The foundation particularly encourages high-risk studies that explore areas with limited knowledge, with the aim of uncovering critical insights into these diseases. Funding is intended primarily for novel, interdisciplinary approaches and aims to provide early career investigators with the resources needed to establish initial proof of concept, eventually attracting further industrial or governmental funding. Proposals should not rely on existing substantial resources that may already be eligible for other funding.
